CHP: Brandy Should Be Charged in Fatal Crash

The California Highway Patrol has concluded its investigation into the Dec. 30 crash involving Brandy – and is recommending that the R&B singer be charged with a misdemeanor count of vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, according to CHP spokesman Leland Tang.

The CHP made its recommendation to the Los Angeles City Attorney's office Monday morning. If charged and convicted, the 28-year-old former Moesha star, whose full name is Brandy Norwood, could face up to 1 year in county jail.

"We know that Brandy's at fault for the chain reaction of the collision," Tang tells PEOPLE.

I was just going to ignore the pic pasted below, but everyone is talking about it. It contains Chance and Real from the "I Love New York" show looking very, ahem, UN-hetero. You can draw your own conclusions. Either way, Chance adds color and flair (tee hee) to the show, so I say keep him.

Mary J. Blige and husband Kendu Isaacs appeared together at Golden Globes parties in Los Angeles Monday, cooling talk that the couple had privately decided to split.
Pals say the singer and producer have reconciled after a tense period, the low point of which was a decision to divorce on Dec. 7.

It was both the couple's fourth wedding anniversary and the day the 2007 Grammy award nominations were announced. Blige led with eight nods.
"It isn't a happy household there right now," says an insider.
It's generally accepted in Hollywood that any romantic splits will be covered until after awards season so as not to hurt the artist's chances of winning. But pals believe Blige and Isaacs are trying to make it work.

"They might be posing for the cameras, but their friends are sure they would probably get back together," adds the source. "You never know in this biz."

A reader of the site sent me this e-mail about Jim Jones and his insufficient funds.

Jim Jones shopped in Paragon Sports (NYC) yesterday with a small group of thugs. His American Express Card (not the black one) was declined. But he paid for his purchase, a bunch of back packs from the camping section, from a fat knot of cash. He was wearing tight True Religion Jeans and some very old school corny Diesel sneakers and carrying a denim man purse messenger bag.

There are so MANY things about this sighting that annoy me. A thug carrying a messenger "murse"?! C'mon Jimmy. Now, we know that is NOT keepin' it gangsta...

Paris Hilton's bff Kim Kardashian has denied she made a sex tape with her R&B singer ex, Ray J. So why are they trying to sell one?
We spoke to a gentleman who says he viewed the tape and that it is being brokered for the very Dr. Evil price of one meeellion dollars.
"It's your typical graphic sex tape," he says.
We'll spare you the exact description (you can probably guess), but he did say "there's a golden shower at the end."

Kim counts Nick Lachey and The Game among her other exes, and is the daughter of former O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Robert Kardashian. Willie (Ray J) Norwood is the brother of Grammy-winning singer Brandy.
Kardashian is on record saying: "There is no tape. It is false."
But the snitch said, "She and her camp want to decide exactly what gets released and what doesn't. She is actively involved in its sale, but wishes to do it through a third party."...

...And I promise not sporadically!
Believe me, I would love nothing more than to post all day for you folks, but my PAYING job is very demanding and I have to prioritize. But, I am making a pledge to provide more updates. pics and insight for you...true story. I'm also going to work on expanding this thing beyond gossip. There are so many blogs out there that cater to getting all up in celebrities butt cracks for gossip (and some of them do damn good), that I decided I need to bring extra value.
Don't get me wrong, gossip will reign supreme, but I will also provide news on politics, world events, original commentary on random topics, etc., etc.

Tyrese Allegedly Punches Pregnant Girlfriend
TMZ has learned that police are conducting a criminal investigation into allegations that R & B singer Tyrese punched his pregnant girlfriend twice early this morning.
Initial reports indicated that Tyrese allegedly hit the woman in the stomach, but TMZ has confirmed that the alleged punches struck her arm and her thigh.
Police sources tell us that Tyrese's live-in girlfriend claimed that the two got into a heated argument around 5:30 AM at their Los Angeles home. According to our sources, paramedics responded after Tyrese allegedly struck the woman, who is five months pregnant, twice and then drove away from the scene.
Reps for Tyrese had no comment.
